Qualifying as a Veterinary Surgeon in 1995 from Onderstepoort University in South Africa, he has since gained extensive experience in small animal internal , general surgery, dentistry and oral surgery.
After graduating, Martin moved to the UK to work in a mixed practice in Shropshire before returning to South Africa to manage a large small animal hospital in Johannesburg. He later expanded his expertise in emergency veterinary care and solo practice in New Zealand before settling in the UK, where he honed his skills in internal medicine.
Over the years, he developed a keen interest in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery, earning the title of RCVS Advanced Practitioner in the field. At Emersons Green Vets, Martin leads the middle-tier referral service, offering advanced veterinary dentistry and oral surgery alongside a team of skilled professionals.
