Zana Johnson

Zana’s veterinary academics started in conjunction with Bristol Zoo. Her Veterinary love and curiosity started when observing the vet and nurse on site at the zoo, alongside studying a pre veterinary course.

In practice Zana spent many happy years at independent vets where she was involved in both large, small and exotic animal care. She has been nursing since 2003 and qualified in 2006. She has previous experience in a former nursing role and Zana joined the team in 2021. Her job role is running the many different nursing clinic’s available for our patients. She is thrilled to do this and gives her huge satisfaction in her day to day working. She hopes to continue to expand our clinics, bringing her experience and provide the best possible service to our patients.

Zana has a keen interest in cats, nutrition and preventative clinics.

In her spare time, Zana is kept busy looking after her two children and her cat Oski. Outside of work Zana enjoys going to the theatre and spending time with family and friends.
