Mia Barnes

Mia has always wanted to work with animals since she was a little girl and started in the industry when she was 15 with her work experience.  Since leaving school in 2019, she went on to college where she completed her level 3 Animal Management.  After two years at college, she went on to work at another veterinary practice for a year working as a Veterinary Care Assistant. Following on she came to EGVS starting as a Student Veterinary Nurse which she says was the best decision she made!

Mia has a fox red Labrador called Alf and two birds. She spends her free time with her dog, going to the gym and seeing her boyfriend. Mia loves all things feline and has a big interest in feline behaviour and inpatient care.
