Su Fowler

Su joined us in January 2012 after being self-employed for 24 years, which she does now on a part-time basis. Su's main role in the practice is to control the ever increasing pile of insurance claims that we have.

She always had a love for animals and as a child had firstly ponies and later horses in a life before her children were born, though she still rides today. She has kept and bred guinea pigs, the eldest living to 9 ½ years! Then there were the dogs and an interest in agility. After going to a championship show, to have a look around, she met Pointers - and they stole her heart and she became involved in showing. Her first Pointer was acquired in 1994; Su says that Pointers are like chocolates: 'one is never enough!' Her beloved Higgins is the father of Louise and Martins Biggles. Higgins was a great ambassador for the breed and was always ready to meet and greet people. He was a show Champion with many successes, his most memorable being Best of Breed at Crufts in 2004!

Su is currently owned by two Pointers and one terrier cross. She has also learned to scuba dive in 2010 and is now trying to learn about the creatures she meets underwater!
