Martin Brice
Martin qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in June 1995 at Onderstepoort University, Pretoria, South Africa. Once qualified, he left South Africa to gain experience working in England, and worked in Shropshire as a large/small animal vet. A year later he returned to South Africa to manage a large small animal iice in Johannesburg where he also helped manage an emergency veterinary clinic. In 1998 he worked in ParaPara Umu, New Zealand in a single man small animal clinic. Here he developed his skills as a single practitioner and decided to specialise in small animal medicine. Since then he has worked in Birmingham where he began his specialisation in Canine and Feline Internal Medicine. He is now continuing to develop that interest in internal medicine and also an interest in dentistry. Martin will soon provide a comprehensive dental treatment program including endodontics.
Nora Schwitzer
Nora qualified as a vet in January 2004 at the Ludwig-Maximillian University in Munich, Germany. After qualifying she left Germany and started to work in conservation and wildlife management in north-west Madagascar. There she collected data on parasite status, ecology and behaviour of the critically endangered blue eyed black lemurs. She is still very much interested in Conservation of endangered animals. After falling in love with the pretty British countryside, Nora moved with her husband to Olveston. Following the birth of her daughter Ira, Nora joined the Emersons Green team in December 2007. Another daughter, Martha, followed in 2009 and a son in 2011 named David - three children have definitely made family chaos perfect! Also this year; three little guinea pigs have joined their family and make going home a special delight.
